Food Safety & Application
All Mayco Stoneware glazes are dinnerware-safe when used as directed, except where noted by the “Not Dinnerware Safe” icon. Always check individual packaging or the Mayco stoneware brochure for specific food safety details.
Application Instructions:
- Stir well before use.
- Apply to soft-fired bisque (cone 04/06).
- Use one to three coats, depending on the desired effect.
- Allow each coat to dry before applying the next.
- Fire between cone 5-10 for best results.
- When storing a crystal glaze, you may consider storing upside down to make crystal more accessible.
- Upon opening, specks will be concentrated in the bottom of the bottle. Stir/shake thoroughly to incorporate before each use.
- Can be used in oxidation or reduction firings.
