Shrinkage rate is 8% [+/-2%] at Cone 6.

Although it can be fired to lower temperatures (cone 06 for example), the colours become much more vibrant as you go hotter. Cone 6 is ideal as demonstrated in the photo. The fired clays look great either un-glazed or with a clear glaze coating. Laguna Coloured Porcelains have a number of advantages, Real coloured clay and therefore has the true look and feel of real clay, more durable than polymer blends, less expensive than polymer blends, particularly well suited for small sculptures or ceramic jewellery.
As with any coloured clay, Zink Free clear glaze is recommended… so as to retain proper colour.
